Crane Installation engineered for the Kingdom

Veltrixair installs turnkey installation and SASO-certified commissioning of overhead, gantry, jib, self-standing and process cranes across Saudi Arabia — backed by OEM engineering authority and executed to FEM, CMAA, OSHA and ASME standard. From foundation review to first lift, Your accountable partner owns the scope.

Scope of Work

What's included in a Veltrixair installation

Every Veltrixair installation engagement is delivered as a single accountable scope — no hand-offs, no scope gaps, no "we don't do that part". The package below is the standard inclusion across all crane types and capacity classes, calibrated to KSA regulatory and OEM requirements.

01

Pre-installation site survey

Walk-through assessment, structural review of host building or foundation pad, runway alignment baseline, environmental constraint mapping (heat, dust, marine air).

02

Foundation & host structure verification

Concrete strength test review, embedment plate inspection, building column-to-runway tolerance check, structural load path validation against OEM specification.

03

Lift plan engineering & rigging design

Detailed lift study, mobile crane sizing, rigging gear selection, exclusion zone mapping, and submission of method statement and risk assessment for client/HSE approval.

04

Runway beam alignment & laser surveying

Precision laser-surveyed runway alignment to FEM 9.511 tolerance — typically ±2 mm on span and ±1 mm on rail-to-rail elevation across full runway length.

05

Mechanical assembly

End carriage to bridge girder assembly, trolley installation, hoist mounting, wire rope reeving, hook block fitment, and torque verification on all critical fasteners.

06

Electrification & control system

Power feed termination, conductor bar or festoon system, control panel installation, pendant or radio remote configuration, VFD parameter setup, and PLC-based safety interlocks.

07

Safety device verification

Limit switch testing (hoist up/down, long travel, cross travel), overload protection calibration, anti-collision system, slack rope detection, and emergency stop chain validation.

08

Static & dynamic load testing

No-load functional test, 100% SWL static test, 125% SWL static test (OSHA/SASO standard), and dynamic operational test under simulated duty cycle — all witnessed and certified.

09

Operator & maintainer training

Two-day operator training (controls, daily checks, emergency procedures) and one-day maintainer briefing (lubrication schedule, fault diagnosis, OEM service portal access).

10

Warranty activation & lifecycle handoff

OEM warranty registration, first scheduled inspection window coordinated, and documented handover to your operations and inspection programme.

Crane Types

Your partner for every crane class installation

From a 1-tonne wall-mounted jib in a workshop to a 500-tonne process crane in a steel mill, Veltrixair installs across the full crane spectrum operating in Saudi Arabia. Capacity, configuration and operating environment are matched to OEM-specified design — never reverse-engineered on site.

Magnet cranes, grab cranes, stacker cranes, automated stowage cranes and other application-specific configurations — engineered against the exact duty cycle.

  • Magnet & grab cranes
  • Stacker / ASRS cranes
  • Custom-engineered duty
Installation Methodology

Five disciplined phases. Zero scope drift

Every Veltrixair installation runs through the same five-phase methodology — defined gates, witnessed checkpoints, and full documentation at each transition. Phase progression is gated, not assumed: the next phase doesn't start until the previous phase is signed off.

iPhase 01

Why Veltrixair

The installation partner of OEM record in Saudi Arabia

Crane installation is a single-shot proposition — there's no second chance to get the foundation right, the alignment within tolerance or the electrification properly grounded. We bring four specific advantages to the work that matter on day one and across the asset's full service life.

01 / OEM Authority

Engineering escalation directly to the principal OEM

Every installation is delivered to OEM specification, with engineering escalation paths back to the principal manufacturer for any specification clarification or remedial design call. Our installations carry factory-backed warranty terms — not "installer warranty" terms.

02 / In-Kingdom Delivery

Saudi-registered entity, Saudi-based engineering team

SASO-registered service entity with KSA-based commissioning engineers, KSA-stocked spare parts, and Saudization-compliant workforce. No fly-in / fly-out commissioning teams, no extended lead times for parts, no language gaps with operations.

03 / Single Accountable Scope

EPC-style turnkey — one signature, one warranty, one phone call

From foundation review to first lift, Veltrixair owns the full installation scope — no sub-contractor hand-offs, no scope-gap finger-pointing. SAR-denominated milestone billing and a single point of accountability across mechanical, electrical, software and certification.

04 / Lifecycle-Ready Handover

The installation is the start of the relationship, not the end

Every commissioned crane is registered in Veltrixair's lifecycle platform with PDPL-compliant digital records, OEM warranty terms, scheduled inspection intervals, and alignment to your in-service compliance programme. Day one of installation is day one of asset visibility.
